Nate and Fitz

Nathan Robb, who joined the team in 2016, is an operational K9 Handler and the Team’s Flanker Coordinator. He is an Amateur Radio Technician who holds a NASAR SARTECH I Certification, and NASAR K9 SARTech II Certification. He is also a NASAR SARTech II Lead Evaluator, NASAR K9 SARTech Evaluator, and NASAR ISAR/ FUNSAR Instructor.  Having a keen interest in search management; Nate taken several FEMA courses, and Management of Lost Person Incident (MLPI).   A Vice President with Merritt Properties, Nate lives in Federal Hill with his wife Sally, K9’s Fitz & Watson, his cat (Farnsworth), and turtle (Bob). In his spare time, Nate enjoys the outdoors, and all forms of art.

 

Fitzgerald (Fitz), a Golden Retriever, was accepted into the training program in 2016. Fitz graduated from the Chesapeake Search Dog Puppy program in 2017 and became operational in 2019. He has his AKC Canine Good Citizen and AKC SAR – Wilderness titles.  Fitz enjoys swimming, is obsessed with his Frisbees and loves hiking and rolling in the leaves.
