Ed & Bosley
Ed DuBois is an Army Veteran and business owner who resides in Gaithersburg with his wife and their dog. Ed joined Chesapeake Search Dogs in 2016 and is an Operational Handler with his K9 partner, Bosley. Ed holds a NASAR SARTECH II certification, a NASAR Canine SARTECH III Area Search certification, an Amateur Radio Technician license, and is a certified Natural Resources Police Search Team Member. When Ed is not busy training or running his construction business (DuBois Construction, Inc.), he can be found hiking with Bosley.
Bosley is an energetic and playful Belgian Malinois who accompanies his handler, Ed, everywhere. Bosley holds a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Certification, the NASAR Canine SARTECH III Area Search certification, and is currently operational as a Wilderness Air Scent Dog. When not training or hiking with Ed, Bosley enjoys endlessly chasing his balls and Frisbees.
